UK Plans:
EUHealth.net Ltd provides an insight into
the Healthcare plans and initiatives currently being undertaken in the UK and across
Europe. It gives Healthcare professionals a composite view of European activities
together with individual priorities and plans. Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) have responsibility
for planning and commissioning local health services. They must ensure that both
national and local priorities for improving health services and responding to health
need are factored into their plans. Planning documents must be submitted to the
local Strategic Health Authority, which in turn submits regional plans to the Department
of Health for approval. The LDP is intended to give an overview of the objectives
that local NHS agencies and their partners will be working towards in any given
period. From the birth of the 10 year NHS Plan in July 2000, EUHealth embarked upon
the task of collating UK statutory local Health Improvement Plans from the then
Health Authorities and subsequently Local Development Plans from their successors
the Primary Care Trusts. Each plan is segmented into one of over 120 clinical and
administrative categories, key word searchable, enabling you to pinpoint the exact
medical area you are looking for without laboriously traipsing through reams of
information they don’t require.
Western EU plans:
Across Europe, regional agencies define and implement the regional policy regarding
the hospital care offering by means of, for example the SROS (Schema Regional d’Organisation
Sanitaire) in France (Regional strategic health plan), analyse and coordinate the
activity of private and public healthcare establishments, overseeing their functioning
and determining their resources through the budgetary campaign. Contents include
regional information on hospital planning and specifically on the Regional Strategic
Health Plans, mapping of hospital centres (identification, location, equipment,
activity) interregional documents. Each plan is translated and segmented into one
of over 120 clinical and administrative categories, key word searchable, enabling
our users to pinpoint their search without traipsing through reams of information
they don’t require.
